A Simple Timer. This almost sounds silly, but it is important. The test has time limits. Many people fail not because they don’t know Dutch, but because they don’t have time. Practice with a timer. Give yourself exactly as many minutes as you will have for the test. This is the single most effective anti-panic technique for test day.
A Voice Recorder. For speaking, you need to hear yourself. Record yourself answering practice questions. Listen to it. Do you sound confident? Can people understand you? This is embarrassing, but it works.
